The only thing I like about winter pretty much:

Ginger Hot Toddy

3 slices fresh ginger

1 lemon wedge studded with 3 cloves

1 teaspoon honey

Whiskey

Boiling water

Put a shot or two of whiskey (depends how strong you like it) in a heat proof cup or mug. Add ginger slices, lemon wedge and honey. Top it off with hot water, about 1/2 cup. This drink really is to taste depending of what flavors to want to come forward. Anyway you make it it makes winter better.

——For those of you in a warm climate right now this drink is also amazing as a cold drink too. Just make as above leaving out the whiskey and when the ‘lemon ginger tea’ has cooled add whiskey and ice.
